Financial Aid and Scholarships

The college has instituted “Student Aid Committee” as an integral committee for fulfilling the dual objective of “equitable access to education” and “promotion and nurture of meritorious talent”. This ensures that the students thrive and build a strong community in campus.

Financial Aid

The objective of the Financial Aid Policy at SGGSCC is aimed at Inclusive Education. Efforts are taken by offering financial help so that no student is deprived of education at the institute. With the support of the governing body and management, every year institution has been supporting students by wavering or allowing concession in fee amount. The committee follows a two-step process to decide the number of awardees and quantum of aid.

Scholarship

A large number of scholarships are awarded by the college to the deserving, meritorious and economically backward students every year. These scholarships are instituted by the governing body, educational trusts, existing and former faculty members, and college alumni. Students who meet the specified criteria are awarded scholarships at the Annual Day Prize Distribution Function. As on 23rd April, 2024, there are 19 scholarships awarded.
