Urja: The Commerce Society

URJA, the student body of the Commerce Department at SGGSCC, embodies initiative, innovation, and excellence. Established in 2004 to bridge academics with practical exposure, it provides a platform for sharpening analytical skills, exploring ideas, and developing leadership.

Known for organizing large-scale events, its annual Commfluencia is the highlight of the year, featuring flagship events Mettle and Achievers United, where sharp minds compete, collaborate, and celebrate commerce. The semi-annual event, Commerce League further fuels healthy rivalry, with colleges competing in stimulating games and the title of “Best Academic Society” awarded to top performers.
