Arthashastra: The Economics Society

Arthashastra, the Economics Society of the college aims to build economic acumen amongst the students and organizes a plethora of events including- quizzes, group discussions and essay writing competitions. Apart from intra-college events, the society also organizes workshops on research methodologies, statistical and economic software's for analysis and data resources on a periodic basis to instill research skills in young minds. The society also arranges interaction platforms with eminent economists and bureaucrats through various seminars and discussions. Regular posts on the Facebook page of the society help disseminate information on relevant economic events and encourage discussions. With an aim to expand the learning of economic concepts beyond the boundaries of classroom, the society recently introduced the annual economic newsletter, Economics News and Views.
