Financial Support Policy

Policy on providing financial support to Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors for Conferences, Workshops, Faculty Development Programmes, and towards membership fee of professional bodies.

Preamble:

The policy on providing financial support to the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor is in force in order to enable them to attend Conferences, workshops, Faculty Development Programmes organised by Institutions of National Repute Universities/Colleges and towards membership fee of professional bodies.

Objectives:

• To improve the academic standard of the Institution.
• To improve exposure of the teaching and strengthen quality of publications of the teaching faculty.
• To help faculty get their promotions from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and from Associate Professor to Professor.

Major Categories for providing financial support to the teachers to promote

• Teaching Learning and related activities
• Research and related academic activities
• Co-curricular, Extracurricular and Professional Development Activities

The Financial support pattern (subject to the maximum of Rs 5000) to teachers to attend conferences/workshops
