A vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) would have to include several key components to ensure inclusivity, accessibility, and empowerment. The Indian government is working its way to a balanced, equitable and sustainable growth with a special focus on the underprivileged disabled groups, by overcoming the challenges they face. Its initiatives include the Accessible India initiative, enhancing skill development, adoption of assistive technology and ensuring employment opportunities. The National Conference on Inclusion of Divyangjan in the Journey towards Viksit Bharat is a collaborative initiative to bring together policymakers, educators, researchers, industry leaders, social workers, and disability advocates. The event aims to foster discussions on challenges, opportunities, and innovative solutions to ensure the empowerment of Divyangjan (persons with disabilities) and their active participation in building a developed nation. This hybrid conference is a platform for showcasing research, ideas, and success stories to address the challenges faced by PwDs, promote inclusive policies and share innovative solutions to improve their quality of life.
