Undergraduate Programs

The College offers several programs at the undergraduate level including B. Com. (Hons.), B. Com. (Programme), B. A. (Hons.) in Economics, B. Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science, B. A. (Hons.) in Business Economics, Bachelor's in Management Studies (BMS) and B. A. (Hons.) in Punjabi.

B.Com (Hons.) is the flagship program of University of Delhi. This program seeks to enhance the knowledge base and practical skills in all the areas of business to enable the students to handle basic business tasks. The program provide a strong foundation to pursue higher course in business education.

B.Com. is another prestigious and sought after program offered by Delhi University. It offers an depth knowledge of all commerce subjects and equips one to take up many professional programs like M.B.A. C.A., I.C.W.A, C.S., etc. and academic programs like M.Com., B.Ed, etc. for further studies.

B.A. (Hons) Economics is highly prestigious program. The program offers a combination of scholastic and practical approach in the field of economic decision making and research and is a stepping stone for higher education in economics and other related areas.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science program imparts the theoretical and programming skills to take up professional positions in the industry. The growth of the IT industry has led to an increased demand for computer professionals. The students of this course have been well placed in the professional IT organisations in the past years.

B.A. (Hons.) Punjabi comprises of the study of literature, linguistic and philosophy of the Punjabi language. One of the principle objectives of the program is to make students acquainted with Punjabi language, literature & culture and making them eligible for pursuing higher studies and advanced research in the discipline. Students develop strong writing skills and the intensive study of various papers open multiple career options.

B.A. (Hons) Business Economics (BBE) is a program, designed to create a strong orientation towards application of economics and related tools at various functions of an enterprise so as to imbibe proficient capabilities in students to analyze data and information for sound policy formulation and decision making. The academic orientation of the program has been designed to create a strong orientation towards seamless applicability of economics, management and related tools in the various functions of a business enterprise. The program equips students with tools and principles relating to subjects such as Statistics, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Econometrics with relevant software to keep abreast with the changing economic scenario and globalisation of business.

Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS) is one fo the first and finest undergraduate professional program in management study offered by University of Delhi, which is an entrance based professional program. BMS was introduced in the academic year 2017-18. To meet the growing demand for student's proficiency in application based study, this program aims to equip the students with knowledge of management and its various dimensions that relate to business organisations with practical approach and industry exposure through internship and training programmes.

Apart from the regular programs, the College is also a Centre for Non Collegiate Women Education Board and School of Open Learning. It has student strength of more than 2000 and total faculty strength of about 90 including both regular and visiting faculty.
