B.A. Hons Punjabi has been a perfect choice for me. The Department of Punjabi of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce provides the best academic environment. Highly Qualified faculty works to advance Punjabi language and literature in the class room and also by organizing events and activities like debates, seminars and workshops. Students acquire a better understanding of syllabus based topics through the interaction with renowned authors and poets.�Along with academics, they also encourage students to take part in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that has helped to improve my reading, writing and communication skills.

Opting BA Hons (Punjabi) provides opportunity to learn Punjabi language, culture and literature and opens many career options. Studying this course at college makes me understand the concepts related to advance Punjabi grammar, literature, media and translation as the department organizes a number of seminars and speaker sessions. Co- curricular activities like debates, short plays, poetry competition have enhanced my presentation and communication skills. The faculty is very helpful as they resolve all my doubts and have helped to boost my self confidence.
