The teaching and assessment methods in the B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics program are designed to equip students with the necessary disciplinary knowledge, academic and professional skills required for business, research, and policy analysis professions. The learning experiences aim to foster active and participatory learning, encouraging students to be engaged and involved in the learning process. Practical skill development is emphasized to prepare students for real-world applications.

The teaching approach includes a variety of methods such as lectures, seminars, workshops, project-based learning, laboratory-based practical components, technology-enabled learning, internships in industry, and research establishments. These diverse approaches ensure that students receive a comprehensive education and gain practical exposure to the field of business economics.

The assessment of students' achievements aligns with the program's learning outcomes and the skills it aims to develop. Various assessment methods are employed to evaluate students' understanding and application of concepts, including oral and written examinations, closed- book and open-book tests, problem-solving exercises, practical assignments, laboratory reports, project reports, presentations, viva voice interviews, multiple-choice questions/quizzes, and classroom group-based activities.
